Caroline F. Murphy

Caroline Maltzahn Murphy went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2011.
She was born on December 28, 1924 the daughter of William and Eva Maltzahn of Buffalo, New York.
She was married to William F. Murphy on October 26, 1946 at the Kenmore Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Deborah Teuchert and Pastor Harry J. Teuchert of Herkimer, New York and her sister Jean Spencer of Leesburg, Florida.
She was employed by the Oneida National Bank in Frankfort, New York for many years.
Her husband Bill was a coach and teacher at the Ilion High School until his retirement.
He was also a veteran of WWII.
They were a devoted couple and traveled together throughout the United States after their retirements.
A memorial service will be held at her former residence, Midtown Apartments, 315 N. Prospect St. Herkimer, New York at 11 am on Saturday April 2, 2011.
Her son in law, Pastor Harry J. Teuchert will officiate the service.
She requested to be cremated and in keeping with Caroline's wishes, there will be no calling hours.
Funeral arrangements are with the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. of Ilion.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff of the Valley Health Services that cared for Caroline.
They were wonderful, compassionate and caring.
