Isaac Heinz Skottke 8 year old son of Marc and Amy (Bodwell) Skottke, passed away peacefully, on October 12, 2015, at home in the loving arms of his parents and in the presence of his nurses, who cared for him deeply.
Their attention to detail and boundless energy kept Isaac going strong for all these years.
Isaac was born on January 30, 2007 in Cooperstown, NY.
He is survived by his parents Marc and Amy; a sister Samantha; two step brothers Nigel and Cameron.
He also leaves his maternal grandparents Joyce and Dan Bodwell; paternal grandmother Betty Skottke; a niece Kaylee as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is predeceased by a sister Melanie and his grandfather Harry Skottke.
Isaac had two very special friends who went above and beyond the call of duty to help him enjoy life to the fullest, they are Dr. Michael Kore and Art Bunce.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 17, 2015 at 1pm at the Dennison Corners Community Church; Pastor Don King will officiate.
In keeping with his family wishes there are no calling hours, friends are asked to please consider memorial donations to the Dennison Corners Community Church, 219 Robinson Rd. Mohawk, NY 13407.
Isaac's family wish to thank the many local organizations that helped keep Isaac happy, healthy and at home, especially the Frankfort Kiwanis Club, who helped him have a room of his own and the Ilion Medicine Shoppe and their staff who did so much to help support Isaac.
