Alan Thomas Emerich, 66, of 11 East Clark St. passed away Tuesday November 4, 2014 at Faxton-St. Luke's Health Care, New Hartford. Alan was born on April 12, 1948 in Ilion the son of the late Earl LeRoy and Helena Beatrice Johns Emerich, he was educated in Ilion schools and was employed as a laborer at Fermer Precision in Cedarville prior to his retirement.
Alan is survived by three brothers John A. Emerich of North Ilion, Eugene Emerich and his wife Elaine Franklin of Richfield Springs. Bill of Mohawk, a sister Catherine VanNort of Ilion, his brother-in-law Raymond Hendrie of North Ilion. He is also survived by special nieces and nephews Debra and Leslie VanNort, Keith VanNort, Michael Emerich and Johanna Emerich also several other nieces and nephews. Alan Was predeceased by three sisters Lois Hendry, June Loring and Donna Conklin and his brother Earl.
Friends may call Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Otsego St., Ilion from 10:00 to Noon with brief service following. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the East Schuyler Cemetery (Millers Grove) in Schuyler.
