Albert Huffman

Mohawk - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Albert Huffman Jr., who passed away on September 13, 2025 at the Grand in Ilion, at the age of 92. Born on December 9, 1932, he was a son of the late Albert and Ethel Huffman, who instilled in him the values of hard work and compassion in Brooklyn, NY. He led a life rich with adventure and a deep appreciation for the world around him.

Albert's remarkable journey included his service in the United States Navy, where he enlisted on January 3, 1951, and honorably served until November 15, 1954, achieving the rank of AOAN. Following his time in the service, Albert dedicated his career to the Remington Arms Company, where he was employed as a supervisor.

Albert is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly Huffman; his children, Janice, David, and Maura; his cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Becky, Matthew, Sarah, Missy, Danielle & Erika.

He was predeceased by his loving daughters, Leigh Ann Raymond and Cindy Paskos, as well as his granddaughter, Alyson.

Albert had a profound love for nature. He could often be found trapping, fishing, hunting, and kayaking in his beloved Mohawk, NY, where he resided for many years. He enjoyed shooting skeet with friends at the Ilion Fishing Game Club and relished the simple pleasures of feeding squirrels and chipmunks.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal services. His family will hold a private gathering to celebrate his life and the memories they shared.
