Anna Dulak 91, 0f 12 West River St. passed away on Thursday September 24, 2009 at her home.
Anna was born January 28, 1918 in New York City, the daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline
(Martenyak) Kunicka.
She was educated in New York City and was employed as an assembler at G.E. retiring several years ago.
On November 22, 1942 in New York City, she was united in marriage to William Dulak.
He passed away on March 5, 2000.
Anna loved life she was a native New Yorker who was proud of her accent, even though she lived upstate for 63 years.
She lived her life fully each day; she loved; her family and her friends, Las Vegas and The Turning Stone Casino.
Anna also loved golf and bowling.
Anna is survived by her three daughters Paula Dulak of Portland OR, Diane Pabes of Little Falls and Jeanne Giacobbe of Northport NY.
Her grand children; Curt Giacobbe and Joanna and Bill Brazier.
Her great grand children; James and Matthew Giacobbe and Emma and Benjamin Brazier.
She is pre deceased by two sisters Francis Stubbs and Stella Ciaccio and two sons in law Larry Pabes and Philip Giacobbe. Also her many good friends, including Jane Kelsey, Evelyn Janeka, Heather Cerri, Flo Eppolito, the Peppenelli sisters and all her wonderful friends in her bowling and golf leagues.
Anna's funeral service will be held on Saturday September 26, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego St. Ilion.
Interment will follow in Kinne Cemetery in Litchfield.
Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
Memorial donations in Anna's memory may be made to the Herkimer County Humane Society envelops are available at the funeral home.
Anna's family wish to thank the HOSPICE and Palliative Care Group, April Lincourt at Bassett, cousins Barb Sarokas and Walter Stubbs, for all their support.
