Barbara E. Ropeter, 71 of Ilion, went home to her Lord on Monday September 21, 2020 at The Grand in Ilion.
Barb was born on January 14, 1949 in Little Falls, she was the daughter of, the late, Lester and Dorothy (Bass) Ropeter.
She was a graduate of St. Johnsville Schools and worked for several years at Felt and Allegro Shoes in Little Falls.
Barbie devoted her life to caring for children and making crafts to share with others
Barb is survived by her brother Keith of Little Falls and sister Gail and her husband Owen Parker of Ilion; she also leaves several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She also leaves her many special friends.
She was predeceased by a brother Lester.
A memorial service for Barb will be held on Thursday October 1, 2020 at 6 pm, at the Word Christian Center, 27 E. Main St. in Mohawk.
Pastor Eugene Kipper will officiate.
In keeping with Barb's wishes there are no calling hours.
Arrangements are with the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego St. in Ilion.
