Caroline Elwood, 81, of Prindle Apts., passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at home. She was born March 14, 1937 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Arthur and Adelaide Hill Elwood. She was a graduate of Mohawk High School and was a recipient of an Accounting Degree, she had been employed by the Village of Frankfort Clerks office until her retirement,
Caroline was a member of the Christian Church of Mohawk and was active in the Bible Study Group there.
Caroline is survived by her Daughter and son in law Lisa and Don Peterson of Ilion, three sons and two daughters in law James Strong of Mohawk, Andrew and Cheryl Strong of Mohawk and David and Barb Strong of Ilion, her grandchildren Michael, William (Alicia), l, Kayla (Jon), , Valerie, Dominick, Andrea Kyle, Ana, Kayla, Ray and A.J. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Tyler, Gavin, Genevieve, Cecelia, Lincoln, Addison and her brother in law Charles Strong and many cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Jean Strong.
In keeping with Caroline's wishes her body is being donated to Upstate Medical for research.
Caroline's family would like to thank all her friends in her Bible Study Group and her friends at Prindle Apartments for all their companionship and support.
