Charlotte W. Bacon, 77 of Utica passed away on Tuesday August 18, 2015 at Focus Rehab & Nursing Center, in Utica.
Charlotte was born on October 26, 1937 in Nineveh, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Alice Burnett.
She was educated in Rome Schools.
On June 4, 1966 she married Lewis Bacon Sr. in Ilion.
Charlotte loved taking care of her family and also the stray animals in the neighborhood.
Charlotte is survived by her husband Lewis Sr.; five children Lewis Jr. and his wife Dawn of Sauquoit, Robert and his wife Holly of Ilion, James, Thomas and Lora all of Utica. She also leaves her 13 grandchildren.
In keeping with Charlotte's wishes, calling hours and funeral services will be private and at the convenience of her family.
Arrangements are with the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego St. in Ilion.
