David J. Haggerty

David J. Haggerty 49, of West Rand Street, Ilion passed away at home on Monday, May 18, 2015 with his family by his side.
Dave was born June 2, 1965, the son of Robert J. and Sheila (Christian) Haggerty.
He was an Ilion graduate and graduated from SUNY Delhi in 1985.
Dave worked for the James Jordan Associates Architects for several years before becoming an independent draftsman.
On August 29, 1992 he married the former Deborah Rankins in Ilion.
Dave was a member of the Ilion Knights of Columbus and the Delhi Alumni Association.
Dave is survived by his wife, Debbie, a daughter, Shannon, his mother, Sheila; all of Ilion.
A brother, Thomas of Victor, NY.
Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many very close friends. Dave is pre-deceased by his father, Robert.
Dave was a lifelong resident of Ilion.
He loved life and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and listening to music.

Funeral service for Dave will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Otsego Street, Ilion, New York with Deacon James Bower officiating.
Interment will be in the Armory Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
