Donna Loomis

Ilion - Mrs. Donna Loomis, 76, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2024 at the Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing in Ilion.
Donna was born on January 6, 1948 in Herkimer, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elenor Feane Entwistle. She was employed as an assembler with Remington Arms Co. in Ilion for many years.
After retirement, Donna enjoyed playing Bingo, weekend cards with her sister and daughter and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her son, Kevin (Tracy) of Chandler, AZ, Becky (Mark) Fresco of Ilion; her sister, Sharon (Tim) Johnston of Ilion; her grandchildren, Kristi, Josh, Andrew and Sarah Hight, Dustin, Harlee, Logan and Garrett Loomis, Dallas Loomis, Deja Baretto, Zack, Samantha and Salvatore Fresco and several aunts and uncles and her great- grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her children, Judy Hight and Harley Loomis; her parents and a sister, Darlene Russell.
In keeping with Donna's wishes, there will be no public services. A celebration will take place at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, 100 Otsego St. in Ilion.
