Frances M. Beach, 95, formerly of 42 Benedict Ave. Ilion passed away Tuesday April 17, 2012 at the Masonic Care Community in Utica.
She was born January 9, 1917 in Utica the daughter of the late William and Estella (Maszczak) Maziarz and received her education in the Utica School District. In 1937 she married Howard Beach in Utica; he passed away December 28, 2001.
Fran was employed as a Project Clerk with Remington Arms Co. in Ilion, after her retirement she was employed for ten years as a secretary with G.E.
Fran was a member of the Church of the Annunciation in Ilion, and the Naki Yan Klub in Utica.
Frances is survived by a son and daughter in law Richard and
Donna
of
The Villages, Fl, a daughter and son in law Sharon and
Edward
Bowers of The Villages, Fl, her sister Marie Dickson of San Louis Obispo CA, seven
grand children and 5 great grand children.
She was predeceased by her son Donald, a brother Thaddeus Maziarz and a sister Jeanette Houston.
In keeping with Fran's wishes there are no calling hours and funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are with the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego Street Ilion.
