Georgiana M. Vooris, 89, a resident of the Masonic Home in Utica passed away on Monday February 2, 2015 at St Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica.
She was born on February 25, 1925 in Hicksville, NY the daughter of the late George and Fredericka Hartmann Wetterau.
Georgiana was married to Benjamin Burton Vooris, he passed away January 13, 1978.
Georgiana was employed as Office Manager with the Diamond Auto Glass in Brentwood, retiring several years ago.
Georgiana is survived by a daughter and son in law Susan and Gerald Smith of Cold Brook, N.Y., a granddaughter and her husband Kristel and Chris Lindsey of Frankfort, NY and two great grandchildren Ethan and Abiagail.
In keeping with Georgiana's wishes there are no public calling hours or funeral service.
Her interment will in the Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
Friends are asked to consider memorial donations in Georgiana's memory to the Central New York Food Bank 6970 Schuyler Road East Syracuse, NY.
