Glynn W. Gregory Jr., 76, of 80 E. North St., passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in Syracuse. Glynn was born on October 17, 1941 in Utica, NY, the son of the late Glynn and Anita Dickison Gregory. He was a graduate of the Central New York School for the Deaf in Rome, NY. Glynn was employed as a chef at the Otesaga Hotel in Cooperstown prior to his retirement.
He was a member of UCAD and RAA.
Glynn was united in marriage with the former Edith Bancroft-Broadbent, on October 7, 1995.
Glynn is survived by his wife Edith, three sons Michael (Megan) Gregory of Leonardsville, NY, Shawn (Dawanda) Gregory of Alabama, Mickey Gregory, his daughter Tina (Robert) Daly of Connecticut, and his step children Judy (Bill) Weakley of Poland, NY, Gloria (Jennifer) Broadbent of Poland, NY, Gina (Jason) Dygert of Virginia, and Gale (Deidra) Broadbent of Gray, NY. Glynn also leaves a special niece Erin Murray of Rome; 17 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Glynn was predeceased by his brothers and sisters.
In keeping with Glynn's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at the VFW at 21 Garden St, NY Mills, NY 13417, on May 31st 3-7pm.
