Hazel Lang Perham Harvey, 96, Nathalie, Virginia went to be the with Lord Thursday, December 7, 2017.
Hazel was born on May 25, 1921 and was married to Harland Harvey on June 11, 1940 in Johnson, VT, and was married for more than 50 years.
She lived with Harland in Cedarville and attended the Herkimer Free Methodist Church.
In September 2000, she moved to Nathalie Virginia on her son Dean's farm.
She attended Mulberry Baptist Church, and eventually lived at the Woodview, where she had many friends and was loved for her beautiful smile by everyone.
Preceded in death by her husband Harland, her daughter Marcia and her youngest son Craig.
She is survived by her sons Gary and wife June of Pasadena, TX, and Dean and wife Dixie of Nathalie, VA, and her twelve grandchildren:
Debbie, Timothy, Darlene, Heath, Dana, Harland, Dena, Jenica, Meghan, Colin, Alliston and Meghan.
She has many nieces and nephews and great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, 100 Otsego St., Ilion, and are on Monday December 11th from 4-6 pm.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday December 12th at Oak Ridge Free Methodist Church, 838 W. German Street, Herkimer, NY.
Burial to follow immediately at the Cedarville Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Cheryl Rees (Sister) for her unflagging care of Hazel during her time in Nathalie, and especially during her last days on earth.
Cheryl was always there and loved Hazel like she was her own mother.
Also, special thanks to the staff at Woodview who provided Hazel with the best care.
