Henry "Hank" Williams Jr. formerly of John Street, Ilion, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica.
Hank was born May 1, 1928 in New Rochelle, NY the son of the late Henry and Margaret Finnegan Williams, and received his education in the New Rochelle schools.
Hank was employed as a machine operator with Remington Arms, Ilion retiring several years ago and
was a member of the Church of the Annunciation in Ilion.
Surviving Hank are his first wife Margaret Vitulli and their children; Henry Williams, Barbara Reilly, Diane Connors and Kathleen Baker. His second wife Mary and their daughter Dawn Williams, three brothers Allen, Roy and Thomas, and a sister Joyce Rafferty, also several grandchildren and great grand children.
Funeral services for Hank will be held on Thursday February 7, 2013 at 7:00 PM from the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego Street Ilion, with Fr. Leo Potvin officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home.
