Homer R. Gamble Sr. of 80 East North St. passed away on Sunday August 31, 2014 at home.
Homer was born on March 27, 1943 in Watertown, New York.
He was the son of Homer Gamble and Ethel (Boethwick) Gamble.
Homer is survived by his wife Pauline, his children; Shirley Tibbles, Brenda, Lillian, Homer Gamble and Tina Waller and their significant others; Steve, Mike, David and Kathy.
He also leaves 10 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and a sister Cynthia Hodge as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Homer will be held on Saturday September 6, 2014 at 3pm at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego St. in Ilion, Rev. Robert Wollaber will officiate.
Friends may call on Saturday from 1pm until the time of the funeral.
