Irene Marie Lyman, 84, of 7 Wayne St. in Ilion passed away on Saturday June5, 2010 at Bassett HealthCare in Cooperstown.
Irene was born on April 22, 1926 in Utica the daughter of the late Stanley and Josephine Sergott.
She was educated in Utica and in September of 1947 she married Russell Lyman, he passed away in 2001.
Irene is survived by her three sons, Donald, with whom she resided, Paul and his wife Fanny of Virginia Beach and Gary and his wife Debbie of Poland, two daughters Renee Eckler and Donna and her husband Rich Rotondi of Frankfort. A sister Rose Getz of Clinton as well as 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In keeping with Irene's wishes there are no calling hours or funeral service, she will be buried with her husband in the Armory Hill Cemetery.
