Isabel Williams 73 of 315 Brennan Road, Ilion , passed away Thursday November 19, 2009 at the Otsego Manor in Cooperstown.
She was born May 30, 1936 in Ilion, NY the daughter of the late David and Lucy Young Singer, and received her education in the Ilion and Herkimer Schools.
On March 14, 1953 she was married to David S. Williams in Cedarville.
Mr. Williams passed away May 17, 1993.
Mrs. Williams was of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Williams is survived by three sons and daughters in law, David S. and Elaine Williams, Jr. of Ocachobee, FL, Berry L. and Diane Williams of East Herkimer, and Jay A. and Carol Williams of Frankfort, two daughters and a son in law Mary and Jessie Schmidt of Ilion, Tina Williams of the Town of Maryland, also several brothers and sisters especially Evelyn Westford and Charlotte Kupris.
Her grand children Carrie, Ryan , Sheena , Jay Williams Jr. and Harry Taylor, great grand children Matthew, Emily Rose, Zachery, Sabrina
and Stone, and
a special person in her life, Robin Torgerson, also several nieces,
nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral service for Mrs. Williams to be held on Saturday November 21, 2009 at 11:00 am from the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc., 100 Otsego Street, Ilion with Rev. Andrew Peloubet officiating, interment will follow in the Cedarville Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday November 20, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral
home.
