Jack Holt 94 and his wife Ruth Holt 91, formerly of Ilion passed away Thursday October 11, 2012 and November 7, 2011 respectively.
Jack was born August 27, 1918 and Ruth March 14, 1921,
they were united in marriage and while Ruth raised their twin daughters Jack co-owned and operated Holt Bros. Cadillac, Buick and GMC dealership in Mohawk, along with his brother Bill.
Jack and Ruth retired and moved to Florida several years ago.
Jack and Ruth are survived by their daughters and sons in law Carol and James Boink of Upper Gwynedd, PA, and Karen and Richard Crews of Tampa, Fl, also two grand children, and four great grand children.
In keeping with their wishes there are no public calling hours, and their funeral service will be private and at the convince of the family in the spring.
Arrangements are with the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego Street, Ilion.
Friends who so wish, are asked to consider memorials to the Herkimer County Humane Society, PO Box 73, Mohawk NY 13407 in their memory.
Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
