Westernville - James A. "Jim" Chilluffo, age 53, of Westernville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 22, 2022.
Born in Rome, on August 21, 1969, Jim was the son of Suzanne (Kelley) Griffin and the late Thomas D. Chilluffo, Sr. Jim graduated from Ilion High School. He went on to get his ASC Certification and started his work as a mechanic. He worked at James Mitsubishi in Rome as a parts department manager. Jim was an avid NASCAR fan, especially of White Knuckle Racing. One of his favorite activities was fishing.
Jim is survived by his mother and step-father, Suzanne and Ed Griffin of Ilion; daughter, Olivia and Austin Stewart of Dolgeville; son, Daniel Chilluffo of Dolgeville; grandson, Levi Stewart; brother, Tommy and Victoria Chilluffo of Ilion; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date to commemorate Jim's life. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, 100 Otsego St., Ilion.
