Jennifer Lynn Forbes

Jennifer Lynn Forbes, 55 of Herkimer, passed away on Thursday August 15, 2019 at Faxton-St Lukes in New Hartford. After a battle with cancer, with her son by her side.
Jennifer was born on June 13 1964 in New Hartford and was a graduate of Whitesboro and received her nursing degree from Alfred University. She worked as a nurse at Mohawk Valley Healthcare in Ilion, until her retirement in 2011. Jennifer was an avid animal lover whos best friend and companion during her illness was Charlotte the dog.
Jennifer leaves her son Matthew Forbes and his girlfriend Briana Brindisi, a daughter Nicole Forbes and her fianc Tyler Conners. Five grandchildren, Julian, Jace, Olivia, Ayden and Avalee. She is also survived by her brothers Michael (Susie), Patrick (Rosemary), James (Angel) and David; sisters Lorrie (Rick), Tami (Rachel). Jennifer is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Edward and Evelyn Mann, her mother Mary, sister Amy, uncles John and Charles Mann.
A celebration of Jennifers life will be held on Monday August 19, 2019 at noon, at the Whiter Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego St. in Ilion. Friends may call from 10am until the time of service. Internment will follow in the St. Marys cemetery in Herkimer.
