Joseph Anthony Marchese

LEWISVILLE, TX - Joseph Anthony "Joe" Marchese, age 61, passed away in Lewisville, TX unexpectedly on Friday, March 1, 2024 with his loving family by his side.Born in Little Falls, on October 2, 1962, Joe was the son of Thomas and Kathleen (Cushman) Marchese. He graduated from Herkimer High School in 1981 and then followed his passion in managing restaurants. Many employee's would remember him as being an admirable leader. Joe was a loving and funny man to be around, always cracking jokes with people to make sure everyone had a smile on their face. Joe loved his Italian heritage, including family traditions, the food, and culture. He also had a passion for music, especially for the band Pink Floyd, whom he closely followed and collected much memorabilia from. He married the love of his life, Teresa. They shared their love and life together for 25 years.Joe is survived by his wife, Teresa; his parents, Thomas and Kathleen Marchese, Herkimer; 4 sons, Joshua and Mallory, Lewisville, TX, Thomas and Jamie, Ilion, Joseph, Jr., Lewisville, TX, and David, Lewisville, TX; daughter, Nicole and Bryan, Mohawk; grandchildren, Jonah, and Kairi; Kaiden, Jace, Parker Joseph, and Braylee; and Aiden, Oliver and Ezra; sisters and brothers-in-law, Anne and Frank Mirabile, Frankfort, Rosemarie and Ralph Reid, Rockledge, FL, and Tammy Marchese, Ilion; and an abundance of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A funeral service will be held in Lewisville, Texas on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11:00-12:30 at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, 100 Otsego St., Ilion. A Celebration of Life will commence at 12:30 at the funeral home.Arrangements have been entrusted to the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, under the care of his nephew, Vincent G Iocovozzi.Being that Pink Floyd was such a part of Joe's life, his family wanted to share a favorite quote to remember him by:"And if the dam breaks open many years too soon, and if there is no room upon the hill, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon"
