Juanita Jane Piaquadio, 64 of Ilion, passed away on Thursday March 10, 2016 at St. Elizabeth's in Utica.
Juanita was born on June 23, 1951 in Wellsboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Viola (Losinger) Brown.
She was a graduate of Galton, PA schools and worked as a teacher's aid with Herkimer County BOCES, until her retirement in 2006.
In 1969 she was united in marriage to Charles Piaquadio.
Juanita is survived by her husband Charles; a son Jason and his wife Susan of Rotterdam, NY; a brother Edward and his wife Edna Brown of Galeton, PA; mother in law Edith Piaquadio of Galeton PA.
She also leaves special nieces, nephews and in-laws; Jerry and Judy Linder, Eric and Roseann Linder and Guy and Yevette Piaquadio and her canine companion Cola.
She is predeceased by her brother Clare Brown.
In keeping with Juanita's wishes there are no calling hours.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday April 2, 2016 at 11 am at St. Babiana Catholic Church in Galeston PA, interment will follow in the Elk Run Cemetery in Marshland, PA.
