Kevin P.Rorke Kevin P. Rorke, of Ilion, NY, died February 6, 2015, at the age of 59, among those he loved. He was born in Albany, NY, on March 15, 1955.
He is survived by his children, Alan Rorke and Jennifer Green; son-in-law, Ryan DeClerck; and grandchildren, Ajna and Kai Green. Through many endeavors Kevin strived to succeed and enjoy every experience to its fullest. Touching many lives in many ways, he was able to befriend a stranger known for a moment in time with nothing but a smile and laughable joke. He was a volunteer at heart and persistently worked for both organized and self-initiated efforts. Though his journey was arduous, he gave his all. He was supported by Jennifer Sweeney; long-time friend, Susan Martin and her husband, Chet Martin; and loving cousin, Mark Fuller.
A Mass will be held in his name at St. Anthony's and St. Joseph's Church on Sunday, February 15th, at 10:00 a.m., with a celebration of life to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Kevin's Bistro, 100 W. Main St., Frankfort, NY. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Herkimer County Humane Society. -
