Marjorie H. Hadsell, 97, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Mohawk Valley Health Care, Ilion.
Marjorie was born December 17, 1917 in Burlington, N.Y. the daughter of the late Lyle and Sarah Ford
Washburn.
Marjorie was educated in the Ilion School System and on July 4, 1951 was united in marriage with Harrie
Hadsell, he passed away in 1982. She was employed in the assembly department of UNIVAC retiring
several years ago and attended the Herkimer United Methodist Church. Marjorie was an avid gardener
and loved her backyard.
Marjorie is survived by two sons and daughter-in- laws, Gary and Monica Hadsell of Ilion, and David and
Terry Hadsell of Mohawk, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her
Son, Harrie Jr. in 1965 and two brothers, Orville and Edgar Washburn.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hadsell will be 12 noon Saturday, September 12, 2015 from the Whiter-Hendrix
Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Otsego St., Ilion, with Rev. Robert Wollaber officiating. Interment will take place in Cedarville Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of the service Saturday.
Please omit floral arrangements. Friends are asked to consider memorial donations to her great grandson
