Melanie Ethel Skottke, infant daughter of Marc and Amy (Bodwell) Skottke, passed away at home peacefully in her parent's arms.
Melanie was born on April 15, 2015 in Syracuse, she is survived by her parents Marc and Amy, a brother Isaac and a sister Samantha, two step brothers Nigel and Cameron. She also leaves her maternal grandparents Joyce and Dan Bodwell of Mohawk; her paternal grandmother Betty Skottke, a niece Kaylee, as well as several aunts uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her grandfather Harry Skottke.
A memorial service for Melanie will be held on Wednesday May 27, 2015 at 1 pm at the Dennison Corners Community Church; Pastor Don King will officiate.
In keeping with her families wishes there are no calling hours, friends are asked to consider memorial donations to the Dennison Corners Community Church, 219 Robinson Rd. Mohawk, NY 13407.
Arrangements are with the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego St. in Ilion.
