Mildred Everson, 69, of 360 Protection Ave., Herkimer, passed away Sunday June 26, 2011.
She was born December 2, 1941 the daughter of the late Adolph F. and Sarah F. (Elthorp) Varin.
On December 19, 1959 she married George E. Everson; he passed away April 18, 2007.
Millie was a full time housewife and loving mother raising not only her own children but being a mother too many other children throughout her life.
Millie is survived by her children;
George and Lori Everson of Norway, Pamela and Thomas Maine of Ilion, Dawn and George Moshier of Mohawk, Roberta and Daniel Goldberg of Dolgeville, Tina Mroz and George Eldred of Mohawk, Shirley Thomes of Mohawk, Nancy Storms and Stephen Walters of Ilion, her adopted sons Charles Steele of Mohawk, and Michael Brinkerhoff
of Ilion, brothers Charles and Winnie Varin of Ilion and Donald Varin of Mohawk, a sister Esther and Kenneth Rood , Ilion,
a god daughter Dale Richer of Mohawk.
Her grandchildren; James and Andrea Rende, Bonnie and Jeff Everson, Loretta Burdick and Steve Kotary, Bonnie and George Brado, Michael Moshier, Christopher Burdick, Nicole Moshier, Rebecca Austin, Mary and Justin LaCelle, Sarah Austin and Sunny Torres, Jean Austin, John Austin Jr., Crystal Johnson ,Mark Morz Jr., Colton Thomes, Bradley Mroz, Bruce Storms111, Brandon Storms, Jacob Storms, Thomas Maine Jr. , Tony Maine, Eric Maine, George Everson 111, Elizabeth Walters, Tommy Walters, Harley Walters, also 30 great grand children, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by
a brother in law and his wife Harry and Gladys Everson, her sisters and brothers in law Lena and Gerald Rockwell, Marian Barnes, Joseph and Lois Varin, Jennie and Herbie Farber and a sister in law Frances (LuPuma) Varin.
Funeral services for Mrs. Everson will be held on Thursday June 30, 2011 at 11:00 am from the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego Street Ilion, with Pastor Eugene Kipper officiating.
Friends may call Wednesday June 29, 2011 from 6:00- 8:00 and Thursday from 10:00 until the time of the service.
The family would like a special thank you to St Luke's Hospital staff and Hospice for all the wonderful care and service they provided.
