Pamela L. Fisher

Pamela L. "Pam" Fisher, age 63, passed away on November 3, 2023 at Wynn Hospital with the love of her family in her heart.
Born in Pompton Plains, NJ, on August 3, 1960, Pamela was the daughter of Evelyn (Grimm) Fisher and the late Samuel, Jr. Fisher. Pam followed her dreams of helping others when she became a social worker. Later Pam got her Masters in Social Work.
Pamela's mission in life was to be a source of love for her family and many friends. She was known for sending many cards and "fun mail" to her friends and family. She loved giving gifts and sharing meals with her loved ones. She was a cat lover, as well as an LGBTQ advocate. Pam was also an accomplished musician and played the piano, guitar and wrote songs. For many years she was involved with the Unitarian Church, and was a frequent visitor to her local library. She loved the Utica area, and had a home in Marcy for many years.Pam will be remembered for her great sense of humor as well as her generous heart.
Pam is survived by her sister, Donna Fisher of Pompton Plains, NJ, and her sister Susan Barrow of Harbeson, DE, as well as three nieces, one nephew, and one grand nephew.
The family will celebrate Pamela's life in a private gathering. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, 100 Otsego St., Ilion
