Philip S. Swiech, 66 of iIlion, passed away on Monday September 2, 2019 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare.
Phil was born on February 9, 1953 in Utica, he was the son of the late John and Dorothy (Dufort) Swiech, He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. Following high school he served for five years in the US Air Force. On October 26, 1986 he married the former Susan Petrie, Sue passed away in 2010.
Phil is survived by his girlfriend Tina Myers; two sons, John Swiech of Ilion and Anthony Carlomusto of Niagara Falls; three daughters Wendi Travis of Ilion, Jackie Calomusto of Romania and Dena Calomusto of Oneida; a brother Denny; three sisters Ann Farley, Patti and her husband Rick Helmer and Christie and her husband Ed Monroe. Six grandchildren Alexis, William and Anna Travis and Shelby, Theresa and Joey Carlomusto.
A memorial service for Phil will be held on a date and time to be announced.
