Ilion
Priscilla M. Bly, 63, of Hoefler Ave in Ilion passed away unexpectedly on Monday February 28, 2011at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Utica.
Priscilla was born on March 30, 1947 the daughter of the late Blaine and Adelaide (Baylor) Wollaber.
She was a graduate of Mohawk and on October 11, 1966 she married Donald Bly. Donald & Priscilla were devoted to one another for their 45 years together.
Priscilla recently retired from the Country Manor after over 20 years of dedicated service.
As a wife, mother and friend Priscilla was truly an angel on Earth.
She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Her unselfish acts of love, generosity and kindness extended to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Priscilla was an animal lover always taking in "strays", sometimes the end result being they became part of her family.
Priscilla was very active and enjoyed many things; her greatest joy was taking care of those she loved.
Priscilla is survived by her loving husband and soul mate Don; her cherished children and grandchildren, sons Jon and his wife Shelly of Herkimer and their children Fred, Justin, Kristara, Brian and his companion Sue Frezza of Frankfort and Steve and his companion Sarin Cavallo of Ilion; a daughter Erin and her husband Daryl Burke of Litchfield and their children Briana, Jenna and Daniel; grandson Storm Wood,
brothers David Wollaber of Cold Brook, Danny Wollaber of Mohawk and Andrew Wollaber of Utica; sisters Annie and her husband Dick Phillips, Kathy and her husband Herb Brown all of Mohawk, Nancy and her husband Robert LaPoint of Ilion, Linda Cockett of Mohawk and Julie Wollaber and her companion James Carr of Baldwinsville, she also leaves a special, loving friend Nina Tselaci and her son Connor of Long Island. Priscilla leaves her beloved animals, Shiloh, Mini Muffin, Little Smoke, Tommy, Beverly & K.C.
She was predeceased by two brothers Johnny and Phil Wollaber.
A memorial celebration of Priscilla's life will be held on Thursday March 3, 2011 at 7 pm at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego St. in Ilion.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4 pm until the time of the service.
