Richard Francis 'Dick' Kennedy

Richard Francis Kennedy, 70 of Jamestown, formerly of Ilion passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in Jamestown.
Dick was born on April 3, 1947 in Ilion, he was the son of the late Francis J. and Catherine (Jarmuziewicz) Kennedy.
He was a graduate of Ilion schools and worked as inventory manager at Remington Arms, retiring after 39 years.
He was an avid hunter and sportsman.
Dick was a member of Annunciation Church in Ilion.
Dick is survived by his son, Darin and his wife Ronda of Jamestown; a sister in law, Kathy; a step granddaughter, Kaylei Russell and three nieces, Lisa Beam, Caroline Ferlo and Lisa Tubia.
He was pre- deceased by a brother Norman.
The funeral for Dick will be held on Saturday, October 28th at 11:00 am at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, Inc. in Ilion with Father Paul Catena officiating and friends may call from 9:00 am until the time of service.
The Ilion Elks Lodge will have a service at 10:50 am.
Interment will follow at the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Utica.
