Roger F. Kiefl, 81, of 346 Otsego Street Ilion passed away Tuesday November 8, 2011 at the Heritage Home in Utica.
Roger was born May 23, 1930 in Utica, NY the son of the late John and Maude (Williams) Kiefl and was a 1948 graduate of Clinton Central School.
Roger was a veteran serving in the US Navy.
On February 20, 1971 he married the former Barbara King in the Blessed Sacrament Church in Mohawk.
Roger was employed as a toolmaker with Chicago Pneumatic for 43 years, after his retirement he worked at Walmart.
Roger was a member of the Church of the Annunciation in Ilion, the St Francis Club in Frankfort, and the Herkimer American Legion Post 38.
Roger is survived by his wife
Barbara of Ilion, two daughters

Listovitch of Ilion and Katie Clifton and Jason Long of Herkimer, his grandchildren Taylor Listovitch, and Connor and Caitlyn Clifton, also several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday November 10, 2011 at 2:30PM at the Church of the Annunciation in Ilion with the Rev. Leo Potvin officiating, assisted by Deacon James Bower.
Friends may call on Thursday November 10, 2011 from 12 noon until 2:00 PM at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego Street Ilion and are asked to consider memorials to the American Kidney Association in Roger's memory, envelopes are available at the funeral home.
