Ronald Reile

Ilion - Mr. Ronald John Reile, age 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at the Grand Nursing & Rehabilitation in Ilion.
Born on May 23, 1938, Ronald was the son of the late Don Reile and Margaret "Lorena" Harris. Born in Utica, he attended West Frankfort School and lived most of his life in Ilion. His marriage to Beverly Bowman took place at the Episcopal Church in Herkimer on February 23, 1963. He worked in the family business until he retired from the E.J. Willis Co. in Middleville.
Ronald is survived by his two sons, Ronald Reile, Jr. and his wife, Molly of Ilion and Jeffrey Reile of Herkimer; sister-in-law, Patricia Reile of Utica; brothers, Mitchell and his wife, Karen of Schuyler, J.C. Reile and his wife, Roberta of Florida and Richard Reile of Florida; one sister, Valerie Duncan and her husband, Gordon of Herkimer and several nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Beverly who passed away on April 14, 2024; his parents; his brother and sister-in-law, Don and Mary Reile; and his brother, Paul Reile.
In keeping with Ronald's wishes, there will be no public services. At this time, there will be no funeral services. Instead, a Celebration of Life will be held later at the convenience of her family Arrangements have been entrusted to the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, 100 Otsego St. Ilion, NY 13357.
