Sally A. Bogardus, 81 passed away on Saturday October 17, 2020 at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center, Syracuse.
Sally was born March 16, 1939 in Ilion the daughter of the late Stanley and Marion (Johnson) Day.
Sally was a graduate of the Ilion High School class of 1957.
She united in marriage to George E. Bogardus on November 26, 1971 in Ilion.
She was employed for many years by MDS in Herkimer as a Quality Control Inspector.
Sally is survived by her husband of 49 years George, a son Brad Bruce, FL, two brothers Donald Day of Ilion and Charles "Boots" Day of St. Louis, MO., a sister Doneta Sporney, VA., two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by a son Brian Bruce, brothers William and Darrell Day and sisters Esther LeClair and Arleta Day.
Funeral services at this time are private and at convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been made with Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Otsego Street, Ilion.
