Beloved Husband, Father, brother
An amazing man was born on to this earth April 21st, 1931, the good lord called him to his side 86 years later on February 3rd 2018.
Stanley led a full life with a storied path of success wherever he went. Stationed on the naval cruiser USS Roanoke in his youth led to him visiting many countries of which great stories were shared to all of his children and grandchildren. His work career took him to General electric where he spent 35 years as a quality control engineer all while becoming a respected member of the GE team.
Married to Ethel (Wheelock) Lupinski for over 63 years they settled in the Ilion Gorge to bring up 4 loving sons. An avid tinkerer, Stan had a passion for woodworking and gardening while being an amazing do it yourselfer. His time away from work was spent in the outdoors or in his workshop creating and teaching at the same time. A devote member of Annunciation Church in Ilion, NY his appreciation for his faith always stood out. Stan's 4 sons all reside on the east coast with their families; Brian & Cheryl Lupinski of Ilion NY, Steven and Lisa Lupinski of Raleigh, NC, Gregory Lupinski and Sherry Troutman of Ilion NY and James and Michelle Lupinski of Westminster, MA.
Stanley and Ethel also have 8 Grandchildren and 2 great Grandchildren, all who have always made him smile with pride over his growing family.
Stanley was predeceased by his brother John Alberts and sister Agnes Yuskavage. His sister Mary Durgee resides in Gainesville, FL, brother, Paul Lupinski, & wife Mary Lupinski, Ilion, NY and sister, Julie Tomasik, Lackawanna, NY.
A father whose wisdom lives on within each of us. His passion for learning, and his love of his children will never be forgotten. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff of Valley Health Services for their compassionate care.
Viewing will be at the Whiter- Hendrix Funeral Home Inc., Ilion, NY Wednesday February 7th from 1-3 a Catholic mass will be held immediately following the viewing at 3:30 at Annunciation Church, Ilion, NY.
