Susan Kilb 58, of 1 Colonial Circle in Ilion passed away suddenly at her residence on Sunday February 9, 2014.
Susan was born on September 20, 1955 in Johnson City, NY; the daughter of George and Clare (Caseman) Kilb.
She received her education in the Michigan Schools.
Susan was employed as a CNA in Oneonta, New York.
Susan was an avid reader who had a gift for cross word puzzles.
She had a special fondness for all the children in her life and was simply known as "Gramma Sue" to many.
Susan is survived by three sons and two daughters in law Brad Taft of Utica, Tom and Kayla Taft of Ilion, and Matthew and Elizabeth Taft of Ilion, a daughter Christina Taft of West Palm Beach, FL, two brothers and sisters in law Tom and Laurie Kilb of Windsor, NY and Tim and Marge Kilb of Texas, a sister Cecelia Kilb of Appalachian, NY, also three beloved grand children and a few nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend calling hours and funeral service for Susan to be held on Thursday February 13, 2014 at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego Street, Ilion.
Calling hours will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with the funeral service to follow at 7:00pm.
