Ilion - Mr. Thomas Russell Johnson, 66, of Ilion, passed away, Sunday, May 7, 2023 in Bassett Medical Center with his family by his side.
Thomas was born in Ilion on October 26, 1956, the son of the late Berton and Jane Russell Johnson he attended and graduated from Ilion High School. He was most recently employed with Remington Arms Co. in Ilion.
Thomas is survived by his beloved companion, Debra LaMondie of Ilion and one sister, Susan Akerly of MA.
In keeping with Thomas' wishes, there will be no public services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, 100 Otsego Street in Ilion.
In honor of his valiant battle with cancer, donations in Thomas' memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
