Thomas John Moriarity 62, of Ilion passed away at home on Saturday June 8, 2013.
Tom was born on May 5, 2951 in Pittsburgh PA, the son of the late John and Grace (Hause) Moriarity, he was educated in Pittsburgh and he owned and operated the Tropical Dcor Too, pet supply store, in Ilion.
On April 15, 2006 Tom married the former Sharon Byrnes in Utica.
Tom is survived by his wife Sharon; three sisters Linda Elmer of Pittsburgh, PA, Roni Moriarity of Rome, NY and Barbara and her husband Bob Kennedy of Elizabethtown, PA.
He also leaves a niece and nephew Sarah and Scott Kennedy.
He is pre deceased by a brother Richard.
A funeral service for Tom will be held on Monday June 10, 2013 at 7pm at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego St. in Ilion with Fr. John Bassett officiating.
Friends may call on Monday from 5pm until the time of the funeral, at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to HOSPICE in Tom's memory,
envelopes are available at the funeral home.
