Verna V. Plunkett, age 96, of 100 West Main St., 409, Ilion died Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Mohawk Valley Nursing Home, Ilion.
Mrs. Plunkett was born February 27, 1913 at Frankfort, NY the daughter of the late David and Eva (Gage) Lonis.
In 1934 Verna was united in marriage to Charles E. Plunkett he predeceased her November 5, 1988.
She was employed with W.T. Grant, Ilion as a Clerk retiring several years ago, and was a member of Annunciation Church in Ilion.
She is survived by her grandchildren, David Plunkett; and Christopher Plunkett.
Predeceased by her 2 son, Thomas Plunkett, and, David Plunkett
Funeral Services are private at the convenience of the family.
