Virginia Ann Dutcher

Virginia F. "Ginger" Dutcher, a lifelong resident of Mohawk, New York, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2012, after a brief illness.
Born November 29, 1931 in Mohawk, she was the daughter of the late Arleigh T. and Hazel (Worden) Francisco.
Virginia was the assessor for the Town of German Flatts for several years and was also a licensed real estate agent.
She is survived by her husband of 59
years, Carrol J. Dutcher; one son, Andrew and his wife, Annemarie of Mohawk; and
daughters Barbara Wright of Liverpool, New York,
and Laurie Kowalick and her husband Robert
of
Rochester Hills, Michigan; three grandchildren, Frank Roe Jr, and Alyse and Alek Kowalick; and one great-grandson, Corbin Roe.
She is also survived by her brother Richard Francisco of Mohawk and her sister, Jeanne Morin of Clay, New York; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceeded in death by her brother Arleigh.
A funeral service, for Virginia, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 17th at Grace Episcopal Church on Main Street in Mohawk.
At Virginia's request there will be no calling hours.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
Virginia's family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the nursing staff at Faxton-St. Luke's Hospital, and especially to Dr. Christopher Max for the many kindnesses shown in the care of our wife and mother during her illness.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to MOVAC or to the Grace Episcopal Church in remembrance of Virginia.
