William James 'Bill' Kellogg
September 15, 1943 — February 1, 2016
William (Bill) James Kellogg was born on September 15, 1943. A son of the late Frances and William (Denslow) Kellogg.
He was raised & educated locally and was a member of the Morning Star Ministry.
His work ethic was lifelong, beginning with Bosert's Manufacturing where he worked as a machinist for many years, as well as Remington Arms, then retiring from Utica Metal. He also had a professional relationship with Dr. H. Baum & his staff of associates for many years.
In September 1964, Bill married Antoinette M. Caramato, a union which produced three children, Marie, Catherine & Laura. Later in life he was married to Arleen Graves-Abrams and, along with her children Deborah, Denise and Wayne, he shared 39 years. Besides his loving wife Arleen he leaves his daughters Marie & Dan Addington, FL, Catherine & Paul Barbarotta, FL, Laura & Charlie Stockton, NM, Deborah & Neil Mc Craith, Frankfort, Denise &Wally Reska, Frankfort and son Wayne & Brenda Abrams, Frankfort. Also surviving are his sister Irene (Don) Stannard, and brothers Harold (Patricia) Kellogg, and Earl (Sharon) Kellogg; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Bill will be held on Thursday February 4, 2016 at 7pm at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego St in Ilion.
Rev. Robert Wollaber will officiate. Interment will be in the Oak View Cemetery in Frankfort.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4pm until the time of the funeral.
Memorial donations may be made in Bill's name to the Mohawk Valley Heart Institute 2209 Genesee St., Utica, NY 13501.
